Part-load and dedicated vehicle options
Not everyone is moving a full house. If you have fewer items, a part-load service shares space with other customers on the same route – it’s a cost effective option without any compromise on care. For larger moves or those with specific timing requirements, a dedicated vehicle means your belongings are the only ones on board.
Post-Brexit customs documentation
We handle all the customs paperwork required for your move, including Transfer of Residence (ToR) documentation. This is one of the most important parts of a post-Brexit France move and it’s something we manage for you from start to finish.
UK storage bridging
If there’s a gap between leaving your UK property and being able to access your French home, our secure storage facilities are available to bridge the gap. We’ll collect your belongings, store them safely for as long as you need and deliver them to France when you’re ready.
Door to door delivery
From your front door in the UK to your front door in France. We manage the Channel crossing (whether that’s via Eurotunnel or ferry) and continue to your French destination without handoffs to third parties.
Settle in & final checks

Do I need a visa to move to France from the UK?
Yes. Since Brexit, UK citizens moving to France for more than 90 days need to apply for a French long-stay visa (VLS-TS) before travelling. Applications are made through the French Consulate. We’d recommend starting the process at least two to three months before your move date.
What is a part-load service and is it right for me?
A part-load service shares space on one of our vehicles with other customers moving to France on a similar route. It’s ideal if you have fewer items or are more flexible on delivery dates, and it’s typically more cost-effective than a dedicated vehicle. We’ll recommend the right option for your move when we survey your home.
How far in advance should I book?
For summer moves (May to September), we’d strongly recommend booking at least eight to twelve weeks ahead this is peak season for France removals and availability fills quickly. For autumn and winter moves, four to six weeks is usually sufficient, but earlier is always better.
